Eligibility & Requirements

Completion of secondary education and successful UN Women Accounting and Finance Test. A Bachelor’s in Finance or Accounting, CPA(T)/ACCA/CIMA and professional certification are advantageous.
Accounting professional certification; UN/international NGO project finance experience; knowledge of Zanzibar VAT and banking rules.
At least six years’ progressively responsible finance experience with office software and spreadsheet/database systems.

Responsibilities

Review finance transactions and audit issues; prepare and control budgets; process payments and vendor accounts in Quantum; monitor grants and partner advances; support VAT claims, month-end closure, donor reporting and financial training.
