About this Opportunity
Provide welding repair and fabrication support for agricultural implements, heavy equipment, pipelines and estate structures.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform arc and MIG welding and hardfacing on implements and heavy machinery
- Weld supports and structural steel for workshop and field facilities
- Assist with agricultural and irrigation pipe joining and repairs
- Prepare clean metal joints for reliable welds
- Maintain welding machines, consumables and hot-work protective practices
Required qualifications:
- VETA Trade Certificate in Welding or equivalent qualification
- Ability to deliver quality structural and repair welds in workshop and field conditions
Experience and skills:
Minimum 4 years professional structural and repair welding experience; hardfacing experience is preferred.
