Eligibility & Requirements
- BSc in Chemical Engineering, Processing Engineering or closely related discipline. Strong process engineering, cement manufacturing, equipment troubleshooting and product quality knowledge.
- Good supervisory, analytical and interpersonal skills with English and Swahili verbal and written communication.
- At least two years of experience in a relevant process-engineering position.
Responsibilities
• Control operating parameters for the crusher, raw mills, kiln and cement mills and coordinate guidance to patrollers and operators.
• Diagnose equipment abnormalities and production interruptions, escalating to shift coordinators or solving urgent issues.
• Record process data, prepare daily or periodic operating reports and propose automation improvements.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, employee safety and process quality controls.
• Support achievement of assigned cement and clinker output targets and supervise cleaning of conveyor systems.
